A server is not much difference from a computer and can be interchanged. It is just more chic calling it a server and using terminology to confused the uninitiated. But basically a server is a computer connected to the Internet with one of the Server Operating system such as Windows with IIS or Apache with Linux. You can ignore this at the moment, just consider that it is a computer with an operating system.
