Had a conversation with a web hosting client who are with us for quite a number of years. Haven’t really been contacting for quite a while. Was quite amazed at what he had went through. This person was at the terminal stages of cancer and was given 6 months to live. Three years later now, he was corresponding with me telling me that he is still alive and trying to enjoy a new hobby. I had seen a lot of complaints, depressions etc from others who lost their jobs, owe banks money. But look, this person just came back from a walk through death. He is courageous enough to battle death and won and despite all the costs and sufferings was able enjoy life and take up a new hobby. Given the deep recession now and the numbers who lost their jobs, if you think that your situation is awful, how about imagining his situation. He is able to stand up to death and still have a passion for life. For those who are unemployed, do not bury yourself in self pity, instead live a full life as what my this client is doing!
