Sorbs is one of the RBL or what is known as Real-time Blackhole List in which it serves to block the spams coming into your servers. Typically I found that just using the RBLs help cut down the spams in half. The rest needs to be further cut by Spamassassin and other heuristic anti-spam programs. Besides Spamcop and Spamhaus, Sorbs is one of the more famous RBL. Imagine to our dismay when one of the range of IPs we were allocated had been black listed by Sorbs, trying to get them unlisted prove to be futile. There is a donation button for you to donate to one of the causes they choose so as to be delisted. Or that is how I think it works. Well I send the $50 via Pay Pal. What did Sorbs do? They rejected my payment and had Pay Pal refunded me sending me an email on the exact procedure to get my IPs delisted. Very professional and great integrity.
