Had quite a funny experience yesterday night with the NOC of a data center.   Was giving them authorization to reboot a server as it seemed down.   They keep trying saying they pressed the reboot button at least ten times nothing is working.  They assured me that the power cord is tightly plug into the server.   No choice I had to go down and what did I see?  The power cord is indeed tightly plug into the server.  Issue is the other end which is plug into the power socket, the pocket socket is OFF.
